Working on the Palestine National Day identity required both cultural accountability and design rigor. As a non-Palestinian designer commissioned by the Palestinian organisers, I did not assume authority over the cultural material. My role was simply to translate the established Palestinian visual language into a contemporary identity. The process centred Palestinian scholarship, particularly tatreez research by Palestinian dress historians, to ensure visual decisions honoured cultural and historical context.
